AGALA, a word from the Berber (Amazigh) language, refers to small natural elevations in the landscape. At the summit of Gran Canaria, at a maximum altitude of 1,318 meters, we cultivate our vines and produce our wines in one of the highest wineries in the Canary Islands, at 1,295 meters.
Our symbol, a cross engraved on our wines, is an ancient petroglyph found in the caves of Roque Bentayga, an imposing basalt peak of 1,412 meters that dominates the Tejeda caldera and crowns our winery.
